We're the keepers of fun and joy;;
Name: Okinawa, Sayuri
Age: Seventeen
Canon/Custom: Custom
Come forward, little lost one;;
Name: Sayuri
Nickname: Yuri
Age: Seventeen
DoB: October 31
Lineage: Rich (?)
Year/Class: Second year, class 2-A
Family Buisness: Her parents own a prestegious horse training/ breeding facility, and a race track.
Gender: Female
I've prepared your costume;;
Physical Appearance: Sayuri has raven black hair that falls in thick curtains around her heart-shaped head. She has very pale skin, and ivory bags beneath her eyes usually-- but they look much more evident because of her pale skin. Sayuri has piercing gray eyes that look as if they can peer into a person's soul. She is around five-foot-seven, and is quite lanky, awkward, and clumsy, of course!
Clothing Description: Like all wealthy girls at Ouran High, Sayuri wears the-- what she believes to be-- 'frumpy' school uniform. She absolutely hates this. Sayuri is not one to wear formal clothes, and though her family could afford most high-end stuff, she'd prefer to be seen in commoner clothes. Most of the time she wears a pair of worn-out blue jeans, a pair of torn red converse, and a vintage blue T-shirt with a picture of the Beatles on it. Every weekend when her parents have their race track open, she will wear a white floral sun-dress with a matching hat and white flats.
Personality: She is very shy. That's mostly what describes her best. Though some may consider her to be stuck-up, Sayuri really isn't snobby, but is quite peaceful, and observant. When she is around boys, however, she looses all composure, and like some girls, is shy-- but to an extreme. Sayuri decided to head to the Host club, hoping she could be cured of such a 'phobia'. When Sayuri opens up, she puts her trusts in that persons hands, but acts very kind, devoted, and is trustworthy in return.
Sayuri usually acts very kind to her parents-- even if she doesn't want to. She acts like quite the lady around them, keeping a good posture, good dialect, and a great attitude. She may not say much, but thats okay. Sayuri is a very curious girl, and tends to wonder and question things that's she's either unsure of, or that just doesn't make sense to her.
Best Memory: When she first felt the rain on her bare toes.
Worst Memory: When her dance partner, Kazuna, left.
Sexual Preference: Males
The quality of life ;;
Parents: Her mother, Aiko, and father, Koka.
Siblings: None.
History: Sayuri was first enrolled in dance when she was five. She loved it completely. Since Sayuri's family lives on such a large farm, when her parents had to work so much, she began to feel neglected, and decided that whoever she loved would just ignore her, too. Becuase you see, the dance lessons were an excuse to get rid of her for a few hours.
So Sayuri trained hard, and didn't care about friends. No matter if she was invited over, she'd reject the invitation. It wasn't until she met Kazuna, a stable hand that was her age-- and worked at her barn-- who became her dance partner. Kazuna had feelings for Sayuri from the start, but she didn't feel the same way about him. In fact, she was completely oblivious! Kazuna and Sayuri were dance partners from when they were nine years old until they were fifteen, when Kazuna finally professed his feelings to her. When he professed his feelings to her, she hesitated, and he jumped to conclusions figuring she'd rejected him.
So Sayuri shut herself out even more, not even an amused spark in her eye any longer. She started locking herself in her room and staying there until bed until dinner, where she would come out and never say a thing. Her parents began inviting her to banquets of theirs, buying her new horses, bringing her to dance auditions, even getting her a foreign dance partner (whom she didn't even say a single word to). And when she entered Ouran high, she felt like even more of an outcast. She was bullied by some girls (because they thought she was being snobby) but she didn't really care much for them. She just paced the schools, missing classes, lonely, and thinking everything that happened was truly her fault, even though she had no idea really how she caused it. She soon found out about the host club for her first time presentely. She wondered if they could help with her phobia ... and if they could help her take her mind off her crazy life for a few moments.
I'd want to watch this scene forever;;
Roleplay Sample: I'm just going to do something random, okay?
Sayuri stood, her hands clenched in fists. She was such an idiot. Why hadn't she said anything? Kazuna's retreating back had long disappeared. She'd probably never see him again. "Why am I so oblivious?" she yelled aloud, spooking a horse nearby.
She slammed her fist on a tree, the rain still pouring down. She didn't feel like dancing. She didn't want to dance. She just wanted Kazuna back. If saying she loved him meant him bringing a lop-sided smile to her face, she'd do it. She'd lie, even if it was for the rest of her life.
Her face melted into tears, one that had been much too expressionless for years. She heard steps nearing. "Sayuri, dear? don't stand in the rain, you'll catch a cold."
Her mother. She slammed her fist once more. "Leave me alone," She growled, her voice not giving away the tears that were swelling inside, already springing free. She'd ruined everything. But hadn't she already, before Kazuna came along?[/blockquote]
