She should not be wearing that top, since her arms aren't flattering... Geeze, partents need to control their children... What is wrong with him?... Wow, what a creep...
Lorelai sipped through the straw of her soda as she watched various people walk by. Her eyes were narrowed in thought, but what no one knew was that she thinking about them. All these people were the subject to her critical eye and she was relentless today. Lorelai felt a twinge of evil in the pit of her stomach with each unuttered word, but she couldn't help it. Today had been such an impossibly terrible day both at home and work. This was no way to spen a late Saturday afternoon. A girl like her should be out with friends at the park or perhaps actually shopping in the mall.
But that's not how it happened for Lorelai. She had woken up to Kenji jumping on her bed, interrupting her dream, and telling her to make him breakfast since everyone else was at work. Usually Lorelai was a morning person, but this past week had been torture at dance rehearsals and she dearly wanted her sleep. And as if Kenji waking her up wasn't bed enough, there was nothing to cook for breakfast. Well, almost nothing. Lorelai cooked up something quick and then got ready for work. Work was no better. Everyone seemed to be coming in today and left no room for lesiure strides up and down the aisles practicing dance moves because there was always something to interupt her next step.
To escape everything for a few short hours, Lorelai headed to the mall after getting off work and changing at home. She didn't have much money to spend, which was why Lorelai could now be found at the food plaza with a straw between her pursed lips. She watched each person stoll by and ranked them according to the way they acted and the way they dressed. Sure, it was shallow, but it entertained Lorelai to see what each person was like. It also kept her mind off of the horrid events of the earlier part of the day.
Her thoughts ran in an endless stream. It was the only thing she had done that no one had bothered to disturb, which Lorelai was completely fine with. She wasn't up to much chitter-chatter. But Lorelai did want to do something else than sit around and thinking ill of people she didn't know. This was not a very productive thing to do. In fact, she thought, why didn't she simply go to the dance studio and practice? That was incredibly more productive than what she was doing now. As Lorelai thought of this, her body didn't move. She had just spotted a family with a ridiculous sense of style. The woman and her daughter wore matching dresses in different colors and the man and his son did the same, but the colors matched the woman and the daughter.
And people wonder why their children hate them...

The mall was a rather busy place with it being a Saturday. Yes and it was a place that he hardly came to he only went to the mall when he need to get something. That was why the blue hair teen was here yes Yukio had come to the mall for a reason. Yukio was going to buy some art supplies. Yes he needed to get some art pencils and also another sketchbook since his was starting to get full of drawing. Yukio had the mall well he hated any where with large cowards of people. He was not exactly the most sociable person in the world. Though he was glade to here rather than at home. His father was having people over and well he did not want to be around when they came over. No so he had gotten Alphonse to drive him to the mall. Normally he would ride his motorcycle, but had deiced to let Alphonse drive him to the mall since he had offer and he could not turn him down.
So he guessed he could deal with having to in such a crowded place. Though it was not super crowded since it was late on a Saturday afternoon. As he made his way through the mall he deiced to take a short cut through the food court. Yes it was a much faster way to get to his favorite art store. As was making his way he had not pay attention since tripped over the foot of someone who had stuck it out on purpose. As he was falling he bumped the table and he put his hand out front so he did not fall to hard. Yet the table was unstable which caused a tray of food to spill on his head. Hearing the sounds of laughter coming from the table he looked up to see the people at the table. Yukio knew these boys they went to the same school as him Ouran.
They were always bulling him and so he was use to it and he really did not say anything. These boys were older than him and they got from there table still laughing. Looking around he could see the eyes of the other people looking at him some other people were laughing as well and other just had looks of shocks. Yet know one made any effort to help him up off the ground no he could still hear the sounds of laughter. Sure some people would have lost there temper and gotten upset, but Yukio really did not care. No he saw no reason to get upset it was just food. The good thing it was noddles so there was not much to clean up off himself. Most of it had landed in his blue hair. Still it would have have been nice to have someone help him and he was felling a bit embarrassed with everyone in the food court still looking at him. So he had not moved he was still on the ground with food in hair hoping someone would care enough to help him.

Lorelai was still watching the family. They seemed to be quite happy the way they were. Of course, what family isn't at one time or another? But Lorelai could not ignore the fact that they matched. What parent in their right mind would cause humiliation on not only themselves, but on ever member of the family as well? Lorelai was all for love within a family, but even that was too much. There was no way, not even if Kenji or Hideki begged her, she would do such a thing. But there was a chance of it happening if both of her brothers decided to beg her at the same time. Lorelai simply couldn't resist letting both of them down. She was too tender-hearted, even with her foul thoughts of others.
As her thoughts swam around the possiblity of leaving to go home because she was suddenly missing her brothers, Lorelai's focus on the things around her faded. She didn't notice the snickers coming from the table behind her. Nor did she hear their plans of mischief for an unsuspecting classmate of theirs. Lorelai kept her lips on the straw and stayed in her bubble without anymore interruptions.
That was until the commontion behind her took center stage. The snickers were gone and there now erupted large bouts of hearty laughter. Along with the laughter came crashes and spilt noodles everywhere. Lorelai turned around swiftly, taking the straw out of her mouth. For a moment, she gaped at the boy on the ground. His blue hair was covered in noodles, but no one got up to help him. The culprits continued to laugh, while onlookers just gaped or shrugged their shoulders. Indistinctively, Lorelai felt sorry for him. As far as she could tell, there was no need for something to happen. Sure, she wasn't completely paying attention, but Lorelai would have noticed if there was an argument going on so there was no way it was a fight. It just looked like a classic case of bullying to Lorelai.
All traces of her irritated attitude earlier were forgotten as she raised herself from her seat and floated over to the boy on the floor. If no one was going to help him, then Lorelai was more than happy to do it. She knelt next to him amongst the noodles and placed a hand on his back. "Are you alright?" she asked, tucking a strand of her copper hair behind her ear.
Lorelai hated to see someone bullied. It wasn't in her nature to simply sit back and watch someone suffer. However, Lorelai wasn't about to full-out fight with the culprits. She would simply ignore them and concentrate on the victim. The victim always needed more attention than the culprits needed a reprimand. And Lorelai liked to make people happy, not suffer.

Yukio was still on the ground on and he started to pick some of the noodles out of his hair. Yes most boys his age would have gotten upset and gone after the guys who had done this to them. Yet Yukio was never one to lose his temper or get upset about something. No the only time he would have fell upset is if he had not finished a drawing or painting. Beside he knew better than to stoop to there level so he was just going to let it go. As he kept taking noodles out of hair it seemed that the other people who had been looking at him lost interested in what had happen. That was good he really had not enjoy people starting at him. Then he noticed a girl who had gotten up from he table making her way towards him. It that someone had deiced to help him rather than let him continue to have to fell embarrassed about what had happen to him. Attention was something he tried to avoid though it was hard for to avoid that since he was a talent artist and musician so attention was always something that he could not avoid.
"Are you alright?" Yukio herd the girl ask him that and well he was fine. Yes he was not hurt no just more embarrassed that people had seen that happen to him. Sure he should have been more upset about it, but he was not. No it was better to let it go rather than just let bother him. After all it could have been worse than it was at least it was just noodles and not something more messy. "Oh yeah I am alright." Yukio said with his normally quite voice as he continued to to pick noodles out of his hair. Then he saw the tart that was face down and turn back over. Then he started to put the noodles he picked out of hair on it. Yes he wanted to help out the who ever would have had to clean up the mess if just left it. Yukio was not like most the kids who came from money. No he only had one butler while most had a whole bunch of maid and butlers to clean there house. He usually would help Alphonse out by keeping his room clean and even cooking for himself sometimes not making Alphonse do it. Money was something that was not that important to him and Yukio liked earning his own money not taking to much money from his father.
Yukio earn money by usually selling some his art work which seem popular with people who saw it. He kept picking up the noodles till he finished making sure he had gotten all them up off the floor. looking at the girl he noticed she had been kneeling down when she had asked him if he was alright. "Umm thanks." he said to her quietly to her. Yes he was thanking her since she had been the only person who had come to see if he was okay and so he though it was only polite he thanked her. Also he felt that she had not been like the other people who laughed when he got trip. So now he got up off the floor picking the tray up so he could go throw the noodles away.

Lorelai watched in silence as the boy picked the noodles out of his hair. She wanted to help him, but he did not give her the option nor the permission to let her rummage through his hair for loose noodles. She didn't want to be rude and dig among his striking blue hair without first being asked to. It was just be awkward for both him and her.
He didn't say much, besides answering her concern. Lorelai took this time to get a better look at him. From where she was crouched, Lorelai couldn't see much, but she was an observer and observers used what they could. The boy's hair was oddly blue and it's length was arguable, but it worked for him in a way. She could catch a quick glimpse of his dark blue eyes, but it was difficult to make any quick judgements on them. They concentrated on the work before him. His steady gaze lead her to his hands. They were masters at picking up the noodles. Lorelai almost scoffed thinking that he must have a job as a janitor or something since he indistinctively started picking up the remains of the food. But that was just her critic talking.
He continued to work on the mess, when he suddenly turned to Lorelai and uttered a "thanks" to her. She was taken aback because, after all, she had been analyzing him in the harsh eye that she natually had. But when he thanked her, Lorelai smiled sweetly -- just like an older sister would do to a younger sibling -- and replied genuinely, "I didn't really do anything, but you're welcome."
She got up an dusted off her purple knee-length skirt. It was slightly ruffled, but no food had gotten on it anywhere. For a moment, Lorelai continued to watch him. He was certainly one of those lanky-type of people, even on the floor Lorelai could tell that he must have been at least five or six inches taller than she was. Then remembering her manners, Lorelai asked, "Do you need any help? I could lend a hand."
Sure it was late to mentioning it now, considering he had done most of the work, but since he wasn't offereing it Lorelai thought it was best to put it out on the table for him to take if he wanted. Even if he didn't, Lorelai would find a way of helping him out or making it up to him. After all, the whole ordeal had been unfortunate and Lorelai felt sorry for him. She could go and buy him a shake or someting. Or maybe shampoo to get out the leftover noodles? Lorelai chuckled at the thought.
