This was beyond strange, she had thought that she'd seen it all in her life, and although the Host Club had surprised her so far, she didn't think it could get any worse, but low and behold, Tamaki prooved her wrong. Everytime she looked at him, he pouted and sniffed, looking at her with big puppy dog eyes. It was definatly strange, and if he thought that such things would effect her, he was wrong. A puppy look only worked if a dog did it, and she wasn't going to let Tamaki get one up on her, she was going to stand firm to her decisions, no way was a look like that going to make her wear a lollita outfit.
It wasn't that Beni detested the idea of working for the Host Club, she just wasn't thrilled about it. And it wasn't because she would have to tend to their every need, even if it didn't sound appealing; she could handle it. What she disliked the most, was the thought of how much debt she owed, and the fact that she would probably be at the mercy of any of the members of the club. Who knew what horrid things they would ask her to do. There was always the option to refuse their demands, but they could easily manipulate her with the debt she owed, and it was that which caused Beni to dislike the idea of being their maid.
Beni was once again surprised when Tamaki spun on the spot sparkling slightly as he commented on her courage. How on earth could he jump from one emotion to the next? Was there something wrong with him? Or was he faking his emotions before hand in order to gain sympathy. Beni wasn't sure what to believe, and she wasn't sure which she would rather prefer. "Courage has little to do with my decision Suoh-kun, I am only doing what I feel is right." Although she had enjoyed the compliment, she didn't see how taking the blame on herself and agreeing to their demands was brave. It was just a simple solution, that way her father didn't need to know anything, unless one of the members told him, but she hoped that they would respect her privacy and not reveal the huge debt that she owed.
Thinking for a while, she wondered what would be the best thing to be called, she honestly didn't mind being called a maid, it was better then servant or slave, but surely there were better terms? However, the long she thought about it, the more she realised that she couldn't think of anything. So, with a sigh, she turned toward Tamaki, a slight annoyed expression onf her face. He would probably love this. "You can call me your maid, but nothing else. And I will not wear pink, I'll take a maid outfit from my mansion." Beni disliked the colour pink, and she hated the thought of having to wear it just to satisfy Tamaki, if she had to wear a maid's outfit, she would rather wear the traditional black and white maid outfit that the maids at her father's mansion wore. However, it seemed Haruhi wished to pick an outfit for her, giving Haruhi a warm smile, she nodded at the idea. "Sounds good to me." [/size]

Although, he had to admit that the denial to wear his suggested clothing saddened Tamaki a great deal, it did nothing to dull his spirits! In fact, he felt almost huggy after her valiant rejection of his 'courageous' compliment, finding her sense of integrity as adorable as he had when he'd first seen it in Haruhi, and although not as initially forward with Beni as he had the other female (honestly, it seemed easier to border on complete narcissism rather than partial conceit when he thought he was talking to a boy...ehem...), he felt happy to have her among them. Who knew? Maybe Beni would even make an impact on Haruhi's own femininity, assuming that everyone else - Mori-senpai, Hunny-senpai, Hikaru, Kaoru and even Renge - and Haruhi, Kyouya and himself deemed it appropriate to let her in on that little secret in due time, and then the two of them could become best friends - bound together by their similar demise of servitude under a harem of sexy boy-men in an all rich-kid high school. And they could have girly sleepovers, do each other's nails, have pillow fights, read shojo manga, bake cookies, lip-sync to the most modern of pop-stars while pretending to belt it out with their hair brushes as microphones, and eventually become as close as the Hitachiin twins sisters - wearing matching dresses and complimentary colored bows in their hair.
Or something to that effect.
"I'm sure, although not as pink and festive, whatever maid outfit you choose will be perfect, Beni-chan~ However, do you think it would be possible to obtain one right now?~" He pushed, smiling eagerly and motioning around to the sakura petal filled air with his own air of gradure and obsolete self assurance. "Because, you see, some of those tables may be needing more tea..."
