She'd seen better days. The sky was sunny with numerous white puffy clouds floating around. It was warm out, but not hot. Surprising for the rainy month of April, though the forecast did call for some sprinkling later in the day. Ouran Academy was looking like it's marvelous self even after all the bells had rung. It was after school, a normal day, but Ran couldn't fins anybody. Not that she was looking for anybody, but it was peaceful to hear a noise other than silence. The purple eyed girl had seen some guys wander by on their own. But now, everything was quiet.
Where were all the girls? Ran had heard mumblings of something having to do with the Host Club, who she'd never met before, but the red haired city girl had no clue what was going on. She walked around aimlessly, just on impulse she thought she'd come here. What little Ran didn't know was that she was in the middle of the Host Clubs activities right now; near their water fountain. The red locked girl didn't have many friends here at her new home, so she guessed she could say...she didn't get the memo?
The punk was a strong girl with a hard blank stare as she sat on the edge of the fountain. It was a beautiful place, she must admit. Ever since moving to the city, she hadn't seen many beautiful places. The city was beautiful, in every way. The city had a soul, veins, even a heart beat that everyone there could feel around them. Here, the people were all rich and stuffy. Ran looked away, her purple eyes growing easier from her glare. Today...was a nice day.

Today had started out early, all the Host Club members arriving at the school grounds to finish the last minute preparations before opening up the doors, their arms and their smiles to the young ladies, and guys for there were a few, welcoming the start of the Sakura Auction. So far, things had gone pretty smoothly. Not even a minor incident, save the usual clumsiness regarding their king as a response to Haruhi's 'naturalness'.
As things were going so well, Takeshi had been sent to patrol the rest of the 'grounds', to make sure everything was well and fine. With an encouraging nod from his cousin, who was tending to designators, he purposefully, yet leisurely strolled across the grounds, giving everything a crucial look over. This event was important, nothing could go wrong. The tall senior had already walked more than half the route he'd planned in his head, checking his watch to make sure that he was running on time, as he also had young girls to tend to.
A sudden prickle, his senses having picked something up, made him send a through glance around him, his sharp eyes falling on a lone figure near the fountain, his next patrol stop. His feet took him towards the girl, not dressed in the yellow uniform adorned by the majority of the Host's guests. He wouldn't say that she looked lost nor lonely. She seemed quite contempt actually, though a tad bit agitated. Manners passed down through his upbringing and sport, regulations of the school and club and his gentleman pride, better known as chivalry made him step right up to her, his head tilted slightly with a questioning look on his face, while eyes searched for anything that could help him understand her being here.
Sure, he could ask, but this way, if she wasn't in the mood to talk, a simple glare would be enough to send him on his way, as he did not want to impose a conversation on her. If she turned out to be a guest, then he'd gladly escort her to where most people had gathered and should she have just wandered here then he'd inform her of the event, possibly extend the invitation to her should she be interested. It was his duty after all.
