It wasn't there....Nor there...Nor there! Emiko kept on going in circles, even though the halls did not have any curving turns. These halls where enormous and she was so very small, yet she marched across each without hesitation and unparalleled boldness. If only her sense of direction where not so bad, maybe she wouldn't need to fall from one corridor to the next at each turn and actually get somewhere. The high school division seemed so different, almost like another world, except it somehow felt a little hollow and devoid of color. She would have brought crayons if she had known; it was her first trip to this part of the school. If only Daisuke had told her where the sakura grew too! So many "If only...", Emiko's cheek puffed up in the midsts of her frustration.
She faced her stuffed bunny and held her up at arm's length. "Don't worry Ms. Bunny. Onii-chan will show us the sakuras." It was normal to see little Emiko chatting with her bunny from time to time. After the firm statement and a new determination burning in her eyes, she hurried off to find her brother instead, hoping he would lead her to the sakura, since finding them herself resulted in such failure.
Earlier that day, she had heard about the sakura event from the neighboring kids. They where very animated, the kids on the next row, and a bit jumpy. Emiko was only a few days into her new classroom, still shy and uneasy about the sudden boom of kids around her, so she often sat by herself, wondering how to go about the new environment, when the vibe from the bundle of kids next to her finally caught up to her attention. It lured her eyes and popped questions into her head. She wanted to find out what they where talking about really badly and with the feeling she forgot all about her shyness and scurried to the gathered circle, but for some reason she couldn't break through the first line and hear what they where saying, but someone was witnessing how she was struggling to get into the group and tapped her shoulder. It as a boy. His name was Daisuke. She had been caught off guard at first, but after listening to his explanation of what was going on, she was delighted to meet him. He had mentioned that his sister, who was i high school, couldn't stop talking about it all of the day before and that she was going to try to get the King to go on the auction. It sounded like fun! So, she had set off to the high school division to find the sakura and the King, much like a great adventure.
By the time she resulted to relying on her brother, the bell was signaling the time for lunch break. Emiko froze midway through the hall as people began pouring through all the doors. If these hallways where like another world, then these people where like the aliens of that world. They where so different, even unlike her onii-chan. So many faces! Happy, angry, beautiful, stoic, the variety was endless. Emiko stared into their faces with open wonder as she listened to their passing by comments. "What a cute girl." One said. "Is that a kid? Is she lost?" Said another. Hmph! I'm not lost! She stubbornly thought and marched forward again.
"Onii-chan!!" The words echoed from her mouth as she pushed her way through the crowd of students. The halls just didn't seem to empty out. How long would the parade last? "Onii-chan!!" She kept on shouting, looking more and more discouraged by the minute. Someone unexpected bumped into her, knocking her bunny off her hands as she tumbled into the ground. "Ah! Ms. Bunny!" Not only had she fallen, but she disappeared among the many walking feet. "Hang on M.s Bunny. I'm coming!" She shouted, trying to comfort her bunny as she nervously searched the ground, the hallways finally beginning to become more spacious as most of the students reached the cafeteria, but it seems her stuffed animal had been kicked away somewhere. Some remaining girls puzzled Emiko's presence among them from the distance, wondering whether they should lead her to her rightful place, but she would never leave without her bunny.

Mai waited patiently for class to be over, history it was; not one of the most passionate subjects in the world but it kept her interested enough for her to take down notes instead of drawing and trying to understand anything that was explained to her like for when she was studying in mathematic. The one thing she knew that in college, she would find a major that didn’t have maths at all. She hated that subject, every time people talked about those it was as if they were talking in a different language and it gave her some major headaches whenever she looked at a sheet full of problems to resolve. She blinked dumping the thought about mathematics away and hopped out of her chair as soon as the bell rang; how great! Lunch time.
She looked around for her twin sister and spotted the girl leaving the room telling her loud enough through chatters of students that she would be waiting for her in the lunch room, getting her a seat where they could both eat at, along with their friends. She nodded and smiled lifting a hand letting the girl know that she had heard what she said. She turned her attention to her desk, and packed her things into her schoolbag before walking out. Woah, so many people were out at the same time, it was almost scary.
She giggled at the thought- it wasn’t certainly as scary as water, that’s for sure. She even shuddered at the word. She began walking towards to the lunchroom, but her pace became slower as every minutes passed by, remembering that event at the beach and of Kaito-kun. She blushed and quickly shook her head. Sure he was cute and nice to her but it wasn’t the time for her to think about all of this; anyways, who would like someone as gutless and as scared of water as she was? She sighed at the though, getting distracted not to notice a stuffed that was laying onto the ground before she would step in the cafeteria.
Unfortunately, the Italian twin, she ended up tripping over it, for being as clumsy as she was. “Ahhhh!” She said before her knees landed on the ground. She whimpered a little, this hurting but quickly looked behind her shoulder, wondering about what she had tripped on…. a plushie? She stared at it clueless, it couldn’t be Hunny’s she had seen him pass in the hallways and it didn’t look like it either. But then again, why would an other stuffed animal would be there anyways. She grabbed it and stood up staring at it clueless still, looking around for who could’ve lost it. “Uh… did anyone lose this???” She asked trying to get over her shyness as she looked for it’s owner. No one answered; she frowned holding the plushie in her hands. “DID ANYONE LOSE A STUFFED BUNNY?!!!” She asked louder as a light blush appeared onto her cheeks seeing that she was becoming the center of attention. She didn’t like that at all… where was her twin when she needed her anyways? Oh yeah, waiting for her to join, but she wouldn’t until she found the plushie’s owner!

Tap tap tap... went her little shoes, clicking against the marble floor of the halls. Emiko seemed to draw more and more attention as her search became more and more apparent. She had been only searching by herself at first, too stubborn to accept anyone's help, but the effort-driven, fruitless search was beginning to tire her. She then resulted to asking the students themselves, but all she received where confused stares not knowing who 'Ms. Bunny' was. This result hammered her determination down some more, but she would not cave in. She even denied the few helping hands that some girls, who seemed to only be standing and watching, finally offered. But they where offering to guide her back to her classroom. Emiko politely refused them, not wanting to go anywhere without her beloved stuffed friend.
Thoughts moderately began to crow in her head. Things like 'What if Ms. Bunny is hurt?' and 'She must be feeling so lonely by herself!', although some of those thoughts reflected what Emiko was feeling right then. Despite her air of confidence, tears began to gather at the corners of her eyes. Time rolled on by and her cheeks began to flush a soft pink. She didn't want to cry and shame her name and her brother. But what could she do?
Tracing back her steps and falling into the hall she had lost her plushie, Emiko suddenly halted at seeing a change in the atmosphere. It was somehow a little quieter than before, even with the kids around, and something was attracting their attention. There was a small bundle of them turned towards a center, where the curious thing must be lying. Just seeing them so attracted to something was able to distract little Emiko and soon she became curious too. Wanting to appease her hungry curiosity, Emiko broke into a quick walk toward the crowd and forcefully wiggled her way through. She stumbled on her knees upon reaching the center and abruptly lifted her eyes. She was looking up at yet another girl, who held her plushie.
"Ms. Bunny!!" The cry rose loud and clear above the murmurs and chit chats of the student body around. Emiko scrambled up to her feet, her pink skirt now dirty, and quickly reached for her bunny, who was so high and out of her reach, her little arms struggled to reach it. "That's mine! Pwease give it back!" Her cheeks where still blushing with the sadness of having lost her plushie.

Mai felt her cheeks burning as she was still getting a few students’ attention. If only she didn’t trip over to that stuffed animal; she wouldn’t be here looking stupid, looking for it’s owner. She looked down for a few moments, embarrassed but looked back up, seeing that clearly no students had lost it so far. Ah well, she would have to drop it to the principle or something, so their owner could get it back. "Ms. Bunny!!" She blinked hearing a small voice. Was she crazy hearing those now? She looked around, she saw no one in the crowd that seemed to be looking for their plushie.
The Italian twin was confused a little, blinking and tilting her head, only to see a little girl who was trying to reach the bunny. She was so cute! It made her want to awe and glomp her but she resist to the temptation. "That's mine! Pwease give it back!" Mai nodded and kneeled down to give the stuffed animal to the little girl. Wait, what was a cute little girl doing here anyways? The elementary school part wasn’t here, they were in the high school part.
Was she lost? Maybe… she would have to ask. “Here.” she said to the girl with a warm smile. “Are you lost?” she then asked softly, staring at the girl curiously. Looks like that her twin Mao will have to wait a little before having her company. She wanted to help the girl, looked like she had cried because of her lost bunny…or because she got hurt, or she didn’t know why. She then stared at the lunch room. Maybe the little girl was hungry. She could get her some food before she would die of hunger.
“Are you hungry?” She then asked to the brunette. Mai was determined, she would assist the girl, until she found what or who she was looking for. Maybe she had relatives around the school that could keep her company for the time she was there. Who knows. She would have to make her little exploration about that.
