The Opera Ghost Really Existed…
Its been twelve years since the terrible accident that occurred in the Paris Opera House, it has been suggested that faulty wiring in the Crystal Chandelier is to blame for it coming loose and setting the Opera House on fire. Of course those who where there know different. Those who where there saw Christine Daae vanish from the stage and heard the Opera Ghosts voice loom around the theatre.
“That is a corpse that loves you and adores you and will never, never leave you …Why did you want to see me?…When my own father never saw me and when my mother, as not to see me, made me a present of my first mask!"
The words Christine and Eric uttered to each other deep below the Paris Opera House still linger in the tunnels of the catacombs. But what really happened after she was kidnapped from the stage while Raoul was trapped inside the ghost’s torture chamber. Christine was the first and maybe last person to show Eric compassion she gave herself fully to him that night to save Raoul from a terrible death. Eric over whelmed with emotion let the two leave together and they where shortly married.
The Opera Ghost vanished from the face of the earth, Christine returned one last time to the Opera after the wedding but there was no sign of the man who had lived alone beneath the Opera House.
“And regret is a very poisonous emotion, it warps and distorts every aspect of a mans life until there's nothing left but bitterness and despair”
Nine months later Christine gave birth to a baby boy whom she named Charles Eric De Chagny. It was clear after a few months of life that the child was extremely clever beyond its years and as Charles grew up his interest in architecture and music grew and his talents developed greatly. Of course Raoul has his suspicions as to if he is the father or not but has yet to bring it up with Christine. Two Years after the birth of Charles, Christine and Raoul where blessed with another child this time a girl whom they named Elizabeth Marie De Chagny. This child seemed to have inherited Christine’s talents and the two spent their days together practising songs and dancing.
“Wanted, one ghost, experience and good character required. Ability to sing tenor would be considered an advantage”
The Opera House has been fully restored and dancers, singers, musicians and the likes are trailing to the Opera House to be apart of the famous company. The ghost may not have been seen or heard for years but the stories live on. And who knows maybe the Ghost will rise again.
