Welcome, this is a brand new site based on the romantic comdey manga/anime Ouran High School Host. The plot is based upon a fanfiction written by myself, although no one has to have read it to join.
This site is mainly aimed at intermediate to experienced roleplayers. However, if you aren't as experienced that feel free to join. Helpful guidlines will be provided to help you become more experienced. This site welcomes both canon and customs. We hope you have fun here.

Note: In Japan the family name is always put first and then their name follows. So Haruhi Fujioka becomes Fujioka Haruhi. Please remember this because it IS set in Japan. Also, I don't want to see any English sounding names like 'Smith', it doesn't exist in Japan. If your character happens to be English like mine is, then still give them a Japanese sounding name.

Name: Giving your character a name is important, you have to make sure it fits and you have to remember that names are unique and personal. You will be refered to this at all times, so choose your name carefully. Remember, you MUST put your family name before the character's actual name. And all names must be Japanese, even Renge who is French has a Japanese sounding name.
Nickname: This isn't important but if you have a nickname that your character goes by then list it here. An example would be that Haruchi is called Haru-Chan by Honey.
Age: This IS important because your age will determine what year you are in. You have to remember that certain age groups will be in certain years. You wouldn't see a fourteen year old Senior, they are generally eighteen years old. So remember to give anage appropiate to the year you are wanting to be in.
DoB: Just give a day and month, don't bother putting a year down. A year is never really gives so putting a year down will be pointless.
Lineage: Are you ppor, wealthy or somewhere in between? If you are poor, then you won't be in Ouran High School. But we do need poor characters, so don't feel pushed into making a super rich character. Characters like Arai are interessting aswell.
Year/Class: What class is your character in? The Choices are A, B, C, D. A tends to be for the intellegent and super rich students, where as D is for those who are a bit slower. A Character's class is very important because how they act and how they are treated could depend on what class they are in.
Family Buisness: What is it that your family does? If you are a rich character, what buisness has made your family so rich? If you are poor, then do you help in a buisness? All of these are important because we can get a wider look at your charater. Please note that not everyone can own the same buisness, so make sure you read other people's applications before creating your own.
Gender: In Japan, gender is very important. Men are seen to be above women, so they will inherit buisnesses where as women are very unlikely to run a buisness. So if you create a female character, please don't say in the history that they are going to inherit a huge company because it wouldn't happen unless there was no other way, and even then, the owner would try and find someone else.
Physical Appearance: This is an important part of your character, whether it's a custom or a canon you MUST go into detail. This is an intermediate site after all, so I don't expect to see one paragraph. Talk about the character's build, their hair, eyes, any extras that they have like tattoos or scars. You can never go into too much detail with an appearance. The sky is the limit, so don't feel you have to hold back. Please try and stay clear of Mary-Sue type character's who are amazingly beautiful. Flaws are interessting too, and they make the character more interessting. At least 200 words
Clothing Description: Describing their clothes should be in two stages, if they attend a school then make sure you describe their uniform. But don't just state it, talk about how your character feels about wearing it, do they love it or hate it? Then talk about the clothes they wear outside of school, is their a certain style that they use? What clothes do they prefer to wear? What colour do they prefer to wear? At least 200 words
Personality: Like your name and appearance, the personality is personal to your character alone. Apart from History, the personality is probably the most important part of creating a character, a personality gives us an idea of who your character is. So make sure you are detailed in your description. Remember, Mary-Sues/Gary-Stues will under no circumstances be accepted. So don't make your character amazingly popular and flawless. As I said before, flaws make a character more interessting. Talk about how they feel about certain things in life, what's their favourite subject? What do they fear, what are their habits? There is a lot you can touch on, so there is no excuse for a short description. At least 300 words
Best Memory: You don't have to go into too much detail, just state what your character's best memory is. If they have more then one then feel free to put it down.
Worst Memory: You don't have to go into too much detail, just state what your character's worst memory is. If they have more then one then feel free to put it down.
Sexual Preference: Short and simple really, is your character straight, bisexual, asexual, homosexual or do they have no preference? Please note that homosexuality isn't totally exceptable decpite what is seen in the manga/anime
Parents: Very simple, who are your parents? Make sure you also state what their job is and how old they are. Siblings: Does your character have a brother or sister? If so then how many? How old are they etc. Make sure you also state what their job is and how old they are.
History: A character's history is very important because it lets us know more about them and what they've been through. Make sure it fits with your personality. If someone has had a tough and tragic life, they're hardly going to be bouncing off the walls unless they are trying to hide their pain. Go into detail about your character's life, the older they are, the longer the history. Start off with their early life, how was it growing up in their enviroment? How was their first day of school? Did they move at some point? Detail is very important here and you have to make sure everything flows, don't jump from childhood to adult years without a link. Remember, each history is unique, so have some fun writing it. At least 300+ words unless your character is a toddler or in Elementary year
